do you think that lachman's case studies in anatomy would be a good source for step 1 preparation? i'm assuming anatomy in fa isn't enough?

I've never used that book, but I used high yield gross anatomy. It's pretty detailed and takes a while to go through, but probably has everything in it. I definitely didn't take the time to review it in depth as I could have, but I found that doing q bank questions and looking stuff up around a topic was enough preparation.

I had an unusually anatomy-heavy test. (About 25-30 questions on gross anatomy)

I used First Aid and HY Gross Anatomy. First Aid was good for about 1/3. High Yield was practically worthless for me.

If you know First Aid anatomy and want to prepare further, I think spending a day with an atlas would be the best use of time. Many if not most questions were interested in the locations of things relative to other things.

As for neuroanatomy, I had a lot of that too, and HY Neuroanatomy had the answers for every question.
