I took NBME Comprehensive Exam and I got a range of 155 to 170. I have not any studying for Step 1 yet, but such a low score is a little depressing. (I went into the exam only using the knowledge I learned from school).

I'm going to be taking Step 1 on May 4th, so that gives me about 7 weeks of dedicated studying.

It is possible for me to score 200+?

Also, I would appreciate it if other people can post their thought about this NBME comp exam and how much they improved on the real step 1.

Thanks so much!

you have plenty of time to get a score that's average or better, but you need to start working hard right now. there is prognostic value to the CBSSA across the entire population, but it has no importance for individual students aside from letting them know where they stand and how much ground they have to cover to reach their goal score. think of it as your school giving you a diagnostic practice NBME exam.
