I found this in another thread yesterday and was hoping that some of you who have taken the NBME practice tests could take a look. Are these the same questioins from the NBME tests? Do they seem to be from a specific form?

I am close to the point where I am about to pick an NBME test to do if I feel like I need a good score predictor, but I don't want to waste a test if I have seen some of the same (or eerily similar) questions.

Hey Dunce...I can only speak for form two...but they are on there...now we just need answers.

interesting

I haven't looked through all of the files yet, but I just flipped through the one that supposedly contains all path-related questions and it looks like it has about 140-150 questions in it (it's the biggest file).
I guess that these files could contain the questions from form 1 and 2 or the new ones also... doesn't each form have 200 questions on it?

whatever. I only wanted to do an NBME to get a score prediction. It really blows that they don't offer explanations to their stuff. I guess I'll just work my way through these files and look up what I don't know, but I sure do like when somebody just spits out the explanation for me  .

guys, maybe i'm ******ed, but I can't get to these files. I enter the link into my browser and it just goes to the sendspace page, on which i dont see an option to download....... help!!!!!!!!

The option to download is toward the bottom of the page.

i *totally* didnt see that for like 45 minutes that i spent messing around that website.........i guess i am, in fact, ******ed.....
thanks!

I did the pharm file questions yesterday and I found that if I googled the question stem I would get a link to a thread on prep4usmle that had a discussion about the answer. I guess people on that forum have gone through most of these questions and discussed them. It was really helpful for the ones I didn't know. I didn't have to spend a long time looking up answers and there was only 1 question that was not addressed on that forum. I haven't tried any of the other files yet.

you guys...i tried firefox and Ie both with clicking the link and with right clicking and "save target as" and none of these resulted in a download.

any help is appreciated!

Try copying the url and pasting it on another window...you'll get sent to sendspace and you can download it from there...

having looked at these files and taken nbme 1-3, these files only have questions for nbme 1 and 2. no worries

I haven't found a list of answers but as I think someone metioned, copy/paste into goolge works well. You can't be certain about the answers that way, but you can use it to double check what you think is right.

Just wondering if anyone has done them and calculated a percent for any given subject. I just finished biochem and got a wopping 62%. 🙁 Anyone else want to share?

i think this is amazing -- are these q's really from the $45 practice tests? my friend and i had come up with an elaborate scheme to go through and copy every Q, while we we wondered why no one before us had done it yet since med students are smart enough to bootleg everything from Goljan to qbank already.

i just wanted verification that these are true-blue nbme?
