Hey,
Scored a 18 with the exam scaled to a mean of 20; my score translated to a 65 and my school requries a 59 score minimum in order to pass. I know it is only 50 questions, but does that seem unusual that the passing score is fairly close to the mean? Do schools just take the raw NBME score report and use that, or is there some type of curve/math that schools do. The worst part was the practice exam was not even that challenging, but still has me nervous as I am 2 weeks out from sitting for my shelf. Instead of staying in late and scrubbing in on more cases, I'll have to leave earlier than normal to go study and do UW in the library now ugh
