hey, got a question about the NBME practice test breakdowns:

So they give a breakdown at the end of how you did in each subject but they separate "pathology" from each of the systems, like "GI" or "Cardiology" or whatever. When it says "pathology" does it mean general path, like the path section in first aid, or could it be any path (in which case it would overlap with the specific system categories)???

I think it refers to the general pathology (stuff presented in the first few chapters of BRS path or RR). the "basic foundations" or what have you.

This was my take on it as well.

They also never defined what "borderline performance" means on any of the sections either.

It means "borderline performance is comparable to a HIGH FAIL/LOW PASS on the total test of USMLE Step 1." That is a direct quote from the printout I received from my school after taking the CBSE
