How accurate are the NBME self-assessment exams for Step 2 CK? I just took one and am happy with the result, but wondering if it's accurate.

I believe that they are the single most accurate judge of score that you can get. It may not be for everyone or work everytime, but on average it is the best. Check out the study listed at the bottom of your results. I think it is in Academic Medicine 2004 vol 10 or 79 or something. Use the results to work on your weak points. Since the practice test and usmle are made by the same people then it would only make sense that it the most accurate test of how you will perform on the real thing, so long as you do the timed version and not the self paced version.
