NBME to retake or not?

I know this was answered in a previous post, however, my concern is different.
On november 2011, i took the NBME form 7, and i did horrible 🙁
At that time, i didn't take pharma and neuro and some parts of Behavioral science. i felt that i wasn't ready at all since i was lost in many questions.
About 3 weeks ago after going through kaplan lecture notes and doing the Qbank just once, i took the NBME form 6, i scored a 196.
after the NBME, i use DIT as well as UW qbank, and i feel more prepared specially now.

I'm planning on taking another NBME, however I'm thinking of retaking form 7. will this be a good idea? since i took it about 10 months ago and i wasn't ready. or should i just continue to take a different NBME?

before taking teh USMLE, i plan to take 4 NBME's and also the UWSA

Sure, I'd say go ahead and take it again. After all, it's been 10 months since you last took it. It might also give you an idea of how much you've improved since you started studying. Unless you've memorized all the questions and the correct answers to form 7, I doubt you'd lose anything by re-taking the same NBME.

Yea, i would re take them as well. I did take NBME 12 in Jan 12 but i did not review it. And then after studying, i re took NBME 12 in July. I think it would only inflate your score if you remember the questions or if you have reviewed it already.
