NBME Underestimating Score?

So I've been reading through previous threads and they mentioned numerous times about how the NBME's underestimate your real Step score. For those of you who have taken Step already, how true is this and by about how many points?

I haven't seen that in those threads. For most people the NBMEs seem to be a good predictor of where they are now. It's not an underestimation if you study more in between the last NBME and the real thing.

I guess that would make sense, but I found some responses from people who felt the NBME's underpredicted their score.
