I got the NBME USMLE tutotrial questions for the 2005 USMLE. Anyways, I was doing them last night, and I dont know why, but they seemed pretty easy. It was a definite confidence booster. I was just wondering if anyone else did them and if they are close to the actual thing in terms of difficulty?

In case you havent seen them, here is a link:

Everyone I've talked to, myself included, agree that those questions released for step I and II are much easier than the real thing. Definitely good for a little confidence boost, but just know that they aren't representative of the real test.

So before I buy Qbank, is Qbank going to be more of a challenge then? Thanks.

Yea, most of my friends that got 65% of QBank right got a lot better percentage on those released items.

But I'd also do the 400 "pay for" NBME questions. It predicts your score pretty well and I had a repeat question or two. Definitely worth the $80.
