I'm beginning my studies for Step 1 and right now I have USMLE First AID for Step 1, and relevant LEA notes . . .

What else is A MUST HAVE book that you guys found essential studying for step 1?

million dollar ? is, are there any relevant Q&A books/LEA question banks out there as I find this style of learning useful for reinforcing concepts. I figured I could use USMLE STEP 1 Q bank, but maybe my time wouldn't be spent as effectively . . (that and its expensive! 😀)

First Aid for the USMLE Step I and LEA notes were my mainstays; the other thing that I thought was very helpful was a six page chart of all of the lower extremity muscles. This chart included origin, insertion, action, arterial supply and innervation. I split up my lower extremity time; half was spent studying notes, bursae, ligaments, accessory ossicles, ossification centers, arthrology, etc. and half was spent with my charts in one hand and my netter atlas in the other. This regimen was effective for me. Good luck.

I heard it was easy. I wouldn't bother stressing over it.

Wtf Z? Puhhhhhllllleeease.

OP, I am taking it this year and at the reccomendation of several upperclassman I am using the exact thing you are: USMLE First Aid and my professors LEA book/notes. I am also using some of my class notes along with 'Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple' since that has some good pictures/mnemonics. The few I asked about the Q bank said don't bother.
