Looking for people who are in NC or applied to all these schools..

Anyone complete the early app for MUSC and already hear?

I applied to MUSC, UNC, and ECU--all regular due dates--so now I am waiting...😱

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Overall GPA: 3.51
Pre-Req GPA: 4.0
GRE: 150 Verbal, 147 Quantitative, 4.0 writing

Extra-Curric: 420 hours as a teacher's assistant in an autism classroom, 66 OT observation hours in four different settings, 150 hours at a physical therapy internship, co-captain of softball team, coach for running team

Volunteer: I volunteer at my local stray dog shelter and at the Children's Hospital

What are your stats? Did MUSC give a date when they expect to notify applicants? Good luck!

I know!! I am so bad at waiting for something like this--so HUGE for our futures!

I have a BA in Comm Studies, minor in Spanish

Overall GPA: 3.27
Pre req: 4.0
GRE: 156 verb, 150 quan, 4.5 writing

I have 44.5 OT shadow hours...working full time while taking all the pre reqs and while i got apps and shadowing done so my volunteering activities are MIA right now, which isn't great.. I used to volunteer at a senior home in Chicago though.

I saw on the MUSC website that we should know by March 1st I think...

I have not heard from UNC yet, but I was accepted early into MUSC a couple months ago. I decided to go to another school though (so pricey there and I was banking on a scholarship but couldn't find one in SC)

Congratulations!! I am so jealous you are done with the waiting process! How many months was it between getting your app in and hearing from MUSC? And if you don't mind, would you share your stats?

I probably finished my app at the end of August and heard from them around the middle of November. I also recently was invited to UNC for an interview. They said they invited around 40 people and will accept 20.

Any updates from East Carolina? I know their website says we should hear in "early spring" - but that is kind of general.

I emailed ECU yesterday and was told they expect to notify applicants march 8th

I am currently a student at ECU and they told me around the first or second week of March....also told me there were 240 applicants and they are only accepting 25 😱 I am so nervous!! I wish they would do interviews.

I know this is months ago but I'm browsing this thread because I'm applying to MUSC and UNC. I'm curious, is MUSC pricey compared to in-state schools you're looking at? I'm not applying to any in my state of residency, unfortunately, but MUSC is by far the cheapest, unless I'm missing something big. UNC also looks to be about 30k more expensive than MUSC for non-residents of either Carolina. What did you end up doing?
