Wow, Yah-E

Are you done with your dental decks already???? Did you already take Part I? However, what would you suggest for me. Should I wait for the 2004 ones to come out or it really doesn't matter.

Are you kidding...I'm not even close being done reading through these dental decks. I've been so busy with school work that I figure I sell mine now and purchase the 2004 edition later. Plus, I now have all the ASDA NDBE Part I reprints, I'll have enough to keep me busy for now.

If you want to get yourself some dental decks right now, it's not a bad idea. I purchased mine last March before I matriculated into dental school and read a lot of them, mainly the Dental Anatomy section. By doing so, it really helped me in my Dental anatomy course as well as learing the dental lingual faster. Aside from studying for the boards, dental decks can really prep you for what's to come your first semester of dental school and more!

I thought it was a good investment for me.

will be out late January 2004 according to the Decks Corp

where did you get the board exams?

Hi as I read your messages, I was amazed
I studied old dental decks of 1995 version for 2 months, took the part I in Dec 2002, and got an average of 93.

I don't think any version matters
😕

Organic: you may be right that old version may be just as effective, but for some, they simply want the "new" stuff! The point that I was trying to make was that Dental Decks do only come out every three years (1995, 1998, 2001, & 2004) and it's funny to see and hear people saying that they have the 2002 edition when there is no such thing.

Starry Pretty girl: I bought the entire set of the ASDA NDBE Part I booklets from an upper classman from SUNY Dental, a fellow SDNer, HistoGoddess. the whole set included Part I exams from 1976 - 1996. This year, Nova gave us the 1998 release of NDBE Part I reprints so I now have every NDBE Part I released by ADA available.

You can purchase the entire set (1976-1996) from ASDA's website for like ~$130 if you're an ASDA member. The 1998 released NDBE part I is not yet available on the website.

ehmm,
I guess I am wordless for your reason of chasing the " new stuff" .
you are very lucky to have the means for buying the latest, you should consider living in the future, as non of the materials at present would be as latest as they should be....
