Has anyone here applied to/ gotten accepted into the NECO accelerated program for those with MD/pHDs? How competitive is it to get in?

I don't understand - you are applying to an optometry program as an MD/PhD?

I knew a biochem pHD who went through it. I believe there were only 9 others in her group. I would doubt it is competitive since pHD and MD are arguably much harder to achieve than an OD, as well as the fact that not many pHD and MDs would want to do OD program. I would imagine as long as they have space in their program, they'll take your $ and give you a seat.

Yes they have a 2 year program at NECO for people who already have a medical degree.
