NECO Acceptance!!!

If you don't mind me asking...What did you like better about ICO?
Well a major part of my decision involved the fact that I live in the Chicago-land area. Beyond that, I found ICO to be much more convenient and had more "bonuses". At NECO, they do not have their own clinic, and depending where they place you your 3rd year you may have to commute up to an hour away. Also, relating their clinic system, you really don't know what you're going to get. On the tour they show you one clinic (which also happens to be their newest and probably nicest), but I have no idea what any of the others look like, and there are a lot. I did think that the actual school and location of NECO was much better than ICO, but that's really all I found to be better. ICO has the residence hall and meal plan, which I consider "bonuses", and also a fitness center. Granted, NECO does pay for a YMCA membership, but the students I spoke to said they don't really take advantage of it because it's out of their way.
I guess those were the main factors in my decision. I think the cost-of-living in Boston is slightly higher than Chicago, but that didn't influence my decision. In terms of level of education, I think both ICO and NECO are comparable institutions that both have excellent clinical experience.
I received my acceptance on the 23rd as well! Congrats 🙂
hey guys
ive already applied to NECO...im actually just waiting to hear from them but im getting reeally scared that they might not even give me a chance cuz its been about a month now since i sent out my application
so i was wondering how long did it take for them to call you guys in for an interview?

I applied the last weekend in September and received a letter in mid-October when they first started sending them out. Hope this helps. Good luck!😀
I applied the first day the app was working. I received my interview invite in mid-october. The interview dates were the entire month of Nov. They may have a second round later on. I would call them to make sure they didn't lose anything. I called and they told me my invite was in the mail. Good luck!

i just called NECO and they said they sent out an invite! woo
Did NECO call anybody? I didn't have my phone today but they called and left a voicemail for me to call back and now I want to know why they were calling! I have to wait until tomorrow to call them since they are closed. I guess they probably wouldn't reject someone on the phone, but I don't know what it means.😕
wow that`s so great! they can`t wait to accept you! They called!!!
