NECO/Common Interview Questions?

Hey guys,

So, I've been browsing this forum for a while and now have questions that I'm hoping you can help me with.

I've been offered and have scheduled interviews at NECO, SUNY, and PCO 🙂. NECO's interview is approaching all too quickly - this Friday, the 28th. In preparing for my interview, I'm wondering if anyone can calm my slight anxiety and give advice on potential questions they may ask? It'd be great if someone is currently attending or has attended NECO could help me with this, but to those who have had interviews at other schools, I'm sure many optometry schools ask similar questions.

Any insight as to some of the most probable/common questions would be much appreciated!! Best of luck to those who also have upcoming interviews!

Yeah I also found that link through someone else's post. I've been arriving at this site for years, usually I end up in the mcat science question threads, but I'd never known that they had that stockpile of interview questions until it was actually 2 weeks before my own interview.

Just be prepared to do two interviews at NECO - one with a student and one with faculty. Honestly, the student interview is really basic and is closed file. However, the faculty one is open file so they know everything about you except your OAT score.
