What's the take on University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine?

Today I got a brochure and letter from Unecom

It read, Thank you for your intereste in UNECOM...

But I never applied there, it looks like a great school, but I wonder why I got that letter.

Do all osteopathic schools receive a transcript of all DO applicants? or is it that they can have access to the applicant database upon demand, how does it work, does anyone know? Thanks.

Medhacker, you probably signed a release when you took the MCAT enabling all medical schools to access your scores. Some schools will recruit people to apply if they scored a certain value in any sub-section; this goes for military recruiters and MD schools as well.

I think it's from MCAT score report as well. I have gotten things from schools that I never applied to, and I think it is due to score report from MCAT. They all seem to have the e-mail address I used to sign up for MCAT, not the one I put on my applications.

Hi
