Start poking your head in local places and ask about who to contact about a job. Get a phone book out, look up pharmacies, and start calling. Be persistent and you should find something.

If you are willing to work full time + nights and weekends, and also work during the school year, I'm sure pharmacists would be willing to hire you.

Start with district managers and DOPs at hospitals, and then ask the pharmacists there if they have worked at independents.

I work at an independent right now, and I love it. But the thing about independents is that you have to talk to people to know where they are, so that you can go talk to them individually to find out who's hiring.

I need a summer job too. I am just too lazy to look for one. I applied to 3 and haven't heard back yet. Never thought looking for a summer job would be this diffcult. 🙄 If all else fails I can just relax for the summer!
