Something along the lines of Doctors in Training or First Aid.

So far, NMS seems too information dense and while I love the Pestana notes (78 pages) I can't find the audio for purchase.

I prefer lectures I can take notes from, but I clearly am not getting anywhere simply by reading NMS.

I should add that I meant the main NMS Surgery book is too info-dense.

I have NMS Casebook on the way. I still have 6 weeks of rotation left, so I assume I still have a decent amount of time to get through the Casebook, Pestana, and Uworld?

My shelf is in 4 weeks and I've just been doing Casefiles, Uworld, and Pestana (the 76 page pdf)...I can't find the pestana audio file anywhere and would absolutely love it if I could figure out how to get it.

but anyways i've heard NMS Casebook is really good

Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of the shelf. Seems like people are implying that a lot of questions are predictable, which is why Casefiles/Casebook is useful.

If anyone knows where Pestana's audio files can be purchased, please let me know.

Don't know if Pestana's audio can be purchased.

NMS Casebook is still dense, but significantly less so than the NMS big boy.

SUTM GI/Fluids/Electrolytes + corresponding UWorld questions is all I can add to your study materials.
