Hi, I'm a senior planning on applying for the 2021 cycle. However, I wasn't sure if I should take a gap year before applying due to my low GPA. Should I apply to a SMP because of my low GPA or should I take additional science classes to raise it? Also, I was wondering what I needed to improve on for the next application cycle including my ECs. Should I add more clinical, nonclinical volunteering, shadowing? Thanks in advance for the responses!!
Science courses that I have taken w/grades. I was planning on retaking physiology/calc since I received a low grade in those courses or should I take more upper level classes to boost my science gpa?
State of Residence: TX (URM)
MCAT: Planning on taking in January, currently studying for it
