I have a C in Bio I and II (both 4 credits, lab and lecture combined). I'm thinking about replacing it...however, the only classes near me are 4 credit lecture-only courses, and it's unlikely I'll be able to take the separate 2-credit lab because it's constantly full. Is trying to take the lecture-only courses ill-advised? My cGPA and sGPA are bit over 3.4. Should I even bother?

You need to replace with a lecture and lab otherwise aacomas doesn't take it. You can do 4 hr class plus 1hr lab if they offer or combined. More credits can replace less credits but technically not supposed to go other way.
