need advice about letter of intent

so the more i think about it the more i know how happy i could be at vanderbilt. i've already had my interview there and loved the people and school, and they should receive my rec letter packet within 2 weeks.

would it be a good idea to send them a letter of intent this early in the season saying that if accepted i would definitely go to the school? also would a letter of intent affect scholarship offers?

ps. i'm sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but i was hoping to get some insight.

definitely do a search, i think about a month or 6 weeks ago there was something on this.

i do think it is too early (heck, their classes might not even have started yet, though i don't know that for a fact)

and, if you loved vandy, maybe seeing a few other places would give you more perspective?

I had got a few grades come in after sending my secondaries and I wrote letters to some of the schools telling them about that. I also included my interest in the school and that id like to go there. I hope I wasn't overdoing the last part.
