This will be a long post, and I appreciate any advice you will lend. I'm trying to make the right decision, so I will include all necessary information.
Started with abysmal GPA freshman and sophomore year. I've now raised it to 3.2 with an amazing last two years. I scored 30 on my mcat, have 3 years research experience, and still need to volunteer.
I graduated Biochemistry and now am employed full time as a lab technician for my university.
With this position comes free tuition for one year.
I have a limited schedule (work 8-5) and could take upper level (500, 600) science classes; or I could get my masters in health administration over the next year. The MHA courses are all after 5pm or online so this is a valid option. If I take science courses, I could maybe take 6 during the year. I also need to volunteer and retake my MCAT.
Should I take the science courses, or dedicate my time toward the MHA (classes will not help on the MCAT as far as I know.)? After this year, I may also enroll in an SMP if I don't get accepted. For now though, we will assume that I won't enroll into an SMP. What is my best course of action?
Again, I appreciate any and all advice.
