I'm in a bit of a bind here, I was wondering if some of you could tell me what would be my best option as far as looking good for adcomm's would be.

I'm taking an English Comp. 2 course, but the professor has a strikingly different view on English than any other English teacher I have ever taken. So far I am looking at either a high B or low A, BUT it depends on what I make on this final research paper. I wrote a decent research paper (considering the subject was "The relationship between First Nations and the government of Canada), but what this teacher is looking for in a research paper is more of a persuasive essay, so I'm worried he will fail me on that paper.

In short, what I'm asking is would it be better to take the W than get a possible C (though more likely a B I hope)??

(BTW, sorry if I come off as a neurotic *******, but this affects my life's dream, so it's a big deal to me.)

If you def think you're going to get a C drop the course. If you can pull a B just stick it out. May even end up with an A. Go talk to the professor. In MY experience english professors may adjust grades if you show you really care.
