Need Advice Comlex 1

Hello All,

The time is winding down to when I will be taking my comlex 1, and I have exactly 8 days left!!!

Anyway, I took the comsae C back a month ago and scored a 483, and then took comsae B a week ago and scored only a 485. I have been thinking about my performance on B, and can say that I was probably distracted and tired since I took the exam at 10 at night while taking the exam hence I did not go up by much, or maybe I am just rationalizing?

My goal score is 500, I would like to break 500 and a 510 would be ideal. I have been going through first aid again and doing a lot of comquest questions. My current average on comquest is a 76 percent, so I am wondering what else I can do? I do not feel like this is translating into my comsae.

Do you guys think that a 500 from where I am at now is possible? I mean its only 15 points that I will have go up by. I have been doing alright in the question banks, or atleast I think so.

Any advice on how to get that little push would be great.

The COMSAEs are most reliable if you take it similar to the testing conditions on the day of your exam (i.e., 8:00am, unfamiliar computer, timed, no breaks). I would look at your COMSAE score reports and focus on the discipline area most deficient, especially if that area is pharmacology, microbiology, or physiology. You may even want to take the average of all score reports to figure out your weakest area.

Ok thanks for the response, I was planning on hitting micro/pharm (although I have already looked over them) towards the last few days to make sure those are the freshest in mind

I have read in places that the comsae generally underpredicts by about 20 pts or so, how true is that? It seems to be a general trend I've noticed in threads I have read.
