I took my DAT last year around September.

22 RC
17 QR
21 PAT
22 BIO
20 CHEM
19 OC
20 TS
20 AA

Science GPA 3.17 Non-Science GPA 3.44

I applied to UCLA, UOP, Loma, Western, UCSF, and Houston. Didn't get one interview...sigh.

Anyone have around these stats and get accepted? I don't really know how to buff up my application next year other than taking the chance to raise my DAT score. Any advice??

I would say you scores are decent and you should have gotten some interviews, at the least. But then again, I haven't taken mine yet and am not an expert.. Do hope for scores like yours though..
BTW, that science looks a little low..
Did you aks the schools?

5 out of the 6 schools you applied to were in California. You should probably start off by using the money that you would be using for a DAT retake and applying to MORE schools.

Not trying to be harsh, but your GPA doesn't seem super competitive for UCLA and UCSF. Who knows, things might work out differently this year, but I would definitely apply to a few more schools.

I guess I can make a generalization here, calif schools really like high numbers. Both in the GPA and DAT department. Your DAT is okay for calif but that GPA is too low.

Next cycle around, I'd aim for 10-15 out of calif schools.
