Hey everyone!

So I'm planning to study for my DAT in the spring (I'll start though during winter break), and I'm wondering what material is the best out there.

I've heard a lot of people use Kaplan- is it effective?

I've also seen that people talk a lot about this DAT Destroyer- there are multiple packages from crackdat.com and im not sure if that's the same thing as the DAT destroyer books that I've heard about. Anyhow, is DAT destroyer worth the money/ using? I know the website has a lot of packages that seem like they can help.

Are there any other resources that are really good?

If you guys could help me out I would really appreciate it. Any info helps.

Thanks in advance!

I used bootcamp, dat destroyer, and math destroyer for my DAT.

But i am also selling MATH destroyer. let me know if your interested. Good luck!

Hey!

Feel free to check out my breakdown. There are also many others like mine, and I would say most people agree with a lot of what I said. After all, I learned everything from this site and people's breakdowns.

Good Luck! Any questions, you're welcome to message me anytime!

I would definitely recommend the DAT Destroyer.

As for Kaplan, it really depends. I would NOT invest in the course, but I thought the Kaplan white book (which I got from a friend at a lower price) was a decent resource to refresh my memory on GC and OC, which I hadn't taken in ~5 years. However, most people on the site use Chad's videos instead of Kaplan for GC and OC and it works out great for them. For bio, I'd recommend using Cliff's AP, and you can supplement that with Ferrali's Notes (it's waaay detailed, so I'd only use Ferrali's to review stuff you're weak on).

I only tried the free trial of DAT Bootcamp in the few days before my exam, so I didn't buy the whole package, but I'd recommend it because I thought the questions were pretty good.

Free Bootcamp is all you need to gauge your knowledge. Jen follow it with DAT Destroyer, Cliffs and Organic chemistry as a second language. These should prepare you well. Good luck.
