Hey all,

I am about to use DAT destroyer and I feel like biology section starting from the first question makes me wonder what I have studied... if you don't know the questions, do you just skip it or guess it and then look up the answers/explanation and just memorize it?

-Sorry for the title confusion. I meant to write 'how to STUDY DAT destroyer'

Wow.. this is embarrassing. I meant to write 'need advice for how to study DAT destroyer'.......

I made sure to answer every question. I would mark which ones I was iffy on so that I could go back and learn why the right answer was in fact correct (it's important to mark it because if you get lucky and get the question right randomly, you will never learn)

I basically sat down and did X amount of questions each day. Once I went through and "graded" it, I made sure I knew why I got each question wrong. If there was a theme, say I was missing all the ecology questions, I would review ecology info from my other recourses

As someone who would have done absolute crap on the DAT had it not been for the Destroyer here's what I did.

Opened the book, and went through every single question. Took a stab, read the explanation in the back. I did that for every single question. Then I did that again. Then I would pick random sets of 20 questions at a time and make sure I knew the answer to every one in the book. It seems counterproductive because its just memorization of the book, but I ended up with a 23 AA solely doing that. So I'd go with memorization.

I felt like I knew nothing going through bio the first time, by the time I took the test I knew all the answers and why they were correct.

Thank you all. The reason why I was asking the question in the first place was that I feel like I am so unprepared for biology section, but I will use your strategy.
