I have my MCAT exam next week, yet I'm scoring 499 and 498 on practice exams. Should I void it or give it a shot? I've spent 2.5 months full time studying and I'm still doing poorly which is very discouraging. What are my chances of doing better on the real thing? I want to take it but I'm worried a poor score could affect my chances of getting into MD later on even if I retake it and do better.
I was hoping to apply this cycle and want to only do MD programs. I have a 3.85cgpa (3.95sgpa) from McGill. I have a competitive application for ECs in all categories.
So, should I take the exam and take my chances, or wait till next year to apply and re-study later?
