Ok, Im at the end of my AA degree. I start pre-med school for one year in August that consist of 6 science classes and 1 math class which is calculus. There is a PCAT test date for July. Im ordering Dr. Collins within the next month. Should I take the PCAT in July or should I wait until after I start my pre-med classes to take the PCAT?

You need to have taken calculus before the PCAT. Unless you want to teach it all to yourself or you've at least taken it in high school or something.

Also, not really sure what science classes you have taken if you are otaking 6. Not sure what your program entails.

Just my opinion.

Awesome, thank you so much for responding. I start pre-calculus in 2 weeks. I don't take calculus until August. questions for you though-Are you already in grad school or applying-Give me more details, LOL. How many times did you take the PCAT? What were your scores?

I'm a P2 currently. I took the PCAT once. I scored 90+ composite. I think only my chemistry score was in the 80's. I don't remember exactly.

Calculus is not really anything like precalculus unfortunately (or fortunately, if you hate precalc). Will you have taken OChem and all that before your PCAT?
