Hi everyone. I'm starting to really worry about this section. I went through the DAT destroyer QR 1.5 times and just got done with my 5th CDM test and I'm still pulling ~17-18. I feel like even though I try to skip problems, I always run out of time and never get to go back to them. Any advice???

Skip all the word problems.. DOn't even bother reading them...

Just do all the easy questions. If the question is lengthy just skipp it..

Do like factoring questions first.

Yeah.

Also, get CDM (Crack DAT Math).

It's 10 tests. I took the first 3 so far, and timed myself and really memorized from trig stuff and I took the advice of "skip hard stuff IMMEDIATELY" and do easy stuff first, and that raised my CDM scores from 17/19/20

I'm retaking my DAT and I got 17 on the real thing 😉

Thanks guys, it really did help but I'm still a little worried because everyone is saying theres lots of word problems on the real DAT.

do the all the problems in destroyer and math destroyer if you have it and any other source like barrons review of kaplan review.......your gon want to do the straight calculation problems first and then go back to word problems just keep on going the QR section is just looking for what you can answer and thats it ....go through ur materials and time urself especially with destroyer problems because they are a full length practice QR exams......and then read up with ur textbooks or anything to fill in the stuff u dont understand......good luck
