Hello:

Anyone have an idea as to what may be causing my dog's skin to be really pink and warm all of the time? He's a four year old Jack Russell and is in great shape. He doesn't seem to be bothered by this: not displaying any symptoms such as itching or anything like that. I also have a female Jack Russell (his sister) and her skin color is normal looking. This just started happening to him over the last couple of weeks.

The only thing I can think of it being is an allergic reaction and was going to give him some benadryl but I wanted to see what other people thought it might be.

Thank You

You should consult your vet for advice and before you start medicating it on your own... not all people medications are OK for dogs. SDN has a rule against medical advice.
