Hi Everyone,

I'm applying this cycle but I have only one interview. I don't know how it will go so I wanted to start planning ahead in case I need to reapply.

I have a 3.1 cpga/sgpa (<- I was not ready for college 🙁), 36 mcat, lots of community based volunteering, 1.5 years of research, fours years work experience (two teaching jobs, one biopharmaceutical job), 100+ (probably doubled by now) hours volunteering/shadowing in the ER, and health outreach volunteering experience. I am disadvantaged, but not URM, and I currently work with disadvantaged kids.

I was thinking of going to an SMP and applying this next cycle assuming I don't get in. Is there anything else I should do?

SMP is good for someone with your stats.
Just make sure you are ready to work very hard if you go that route.

Go to the interview feedback site, practice the questions that are in there, study your primary and secondary applications, study the school's website HARD, find some people to give you mock interviews, and rock the hell out of that interview!!! Do your best on that, THEN come back here...you may not even need to.
