from a pharmacy school to be very primary care-outpatient-oriented..big on screen patient...pick drug and optimize the drug, counsel....this is how i am trained and picture a pharmacist should..
.but sumhow in reality does not work out that well..it mostly is doctor's job...pharmacist job is still very product-dispensing oriented..partially i understand it bcz u duno the whole history of the patient and exact physical condition..u are not entitle to do that type of thing..
but i think if i just settle for retail or inde i am kind of waste 6 years effort and my potential....honestly i enjoy my pharmacy school very much and very frustrated and down after i graduated....so i duno what are my options here....
.should i go with the flow or keep trying... i even open my own pharmacy just to see i can practice the pharmacy business my way....but within the big environment like this..mostly pbm..the pharmacy goes exactly the opposite direction that i pictured...so i told my partner to let me out... it is quite a emotional distress....
