For those of you who have taken the DAT's, done well and have been accepted I need some advice. As of now I am finished with my sophomore year. I have taken gen Bio 1 and 2, gen Chem 1 and 2, Ochem 1 and 2, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2. I plan on studying for the DAT this summer, although I do not plan on taking it this summer. After having spoken to others who have taken the DAT's they have told me that I would be much better off to take more courses, as well as to not rush it. I would first off like to know what courses you guys have found to be the most helpful? I was thinking taking Kaplan over winter break, and than continue to study after finals next year, and take Kaplan again if I feel the need to possibly retake the course before I take the DAT next summer. My concern is I am applying next summer and would like to send in full applications the day it opens. Will waiting to send in my DAT scores by late June early July, hurt my chances of being accepted? Lastly, I was planning on buying materials to study now, would I have to buy all new ones in 2010?
