Need advice on DAT scores

Just need advice. I have a 3.7 science and 3.85 BCP
My Dat scores are good except for RC. Is RC going to keep me from getting in?

ochem=23
TS=23
RC=16
QR=18
AA=20
PAT=20

you might want to retake it and raise your RC to at least an 18. but your science scores are really high, so you might be good as is.

You should check your schools to see if they have minimum scores for individual sections on the DAT. If 16 is too low of a section score you'll either need to find another school or retest. Your scores seem pretty solid overall.

you might be kept from going say very selective schools, but even then, if your overall application is strong, it definately will not.

I probably would not retake the dat becasue it might be hard to do as good or better on many of the sections. you only have 1 bad score, excellent GPA and DAT overall. hopefully, english is not your first languange, and if it is, you should think about how to explain your 16 if you ask. however, i do not think it is a very big deal.

That RC is a bummer...they may consider it a fluke though since you can obviously read well enough, evidenced by your other scores

I have a feeling they will overlook that one section since the others are so high, just my opinion. It's obvious that you know your stuff. I know I would if I was on an adcom.

Hey MAilman dont listen to this negativity on here! Your scores are awesome and there are many schools that dont care about that one section. Yea its not the greatest score but its not the worst either! I know people to get in with 16's in sections before! I would not worry about it at all. Send in your applications and wait on the mail Man to come by!! B/c he will definately be bringing you @ least 1 acceptance letter! I definately would be happy with your scores! Great job!
