So I am a sophomore. I am a math and bio major. I am staying an extra year (so 5 years in total) and then planning on going to dental school. I am pretty much planning on applying to NC, SC, KY, GA, AL, and FL schools. (Just wanting to stay on the east coast). Point being, here are my grades thus far:
Freshman year: GPA: 3.347
Biology 101- B
English 101- A
College Algebra- A
Spanish 101- B+
University 101- A

Biology 102- C
Intro to Computer- A
English 102- A
Precal 1-A
Spanish 102- C
Chemistry 111- B

Sophomore year: (grades aren't final but I'm sure this is what my grades are going to be, if not worse)
Chemistry 112- C
Precal 2- D+ (the professor said he might curve everyone's grades up, so considering I am only 2 points away from a C, it is possible I might have a C; also I know you aren't supposed to blame the professor, but I have talked with 3 other Math professors, including my calculus professor next semester, in my math department who have also stated that his grading procedures are crazy (takes off all points for not doing the problem EXACTLY how he did it even when there are multiple ways of solving the problem, he gives no partial credit, and the only grades in the class are 5 tests.)
History 101- B+
Psychology 101- A
Music 101- A

A little background on the falling grades: I know this is a sorry excuse but I have been struggling with an increase of multiple mental health issues, and I'm getting help, but it's still a daily struggle. However, I have been put on some new medicine that seems to be slowly helping. I know that if I get the chance to do an interview for dental school that mentioning any type of mental health issues are a big no-no. Therefore, if they ask about the grades I really don't have anything to tell them. Next semester I am taking Calculus 1, Biology 302 (cell and molecular), Philosophy, Public Speaking, and Computer Science 150.

Do I still have a chance even with already having 4 C's?
Thanks for any advice.

I have always loved math and would use it as a back up plan if I didn't make it into dental school. Also, I am doing the biology major because I am doing all the required and close to all of the recommended courses for dental school. The only class on the biology major that isn't required/ recommended for dental school was ecology and so it just made sense to go ahead and plan on taking that class as well so that I could graduated with two majors since its only one class away from 2 majors.

Can anyone give me some advice??? I'm really anxious about this!

Since you have not completed even a half of the prerequisites for dental school, it is a bit premature to ask the "chance me" question. Why not concentrate on your health issues?
