I was speaking to a professor regarding getting a letter of evaluation based upon having taking 3 lecture courses with them along with a researching course. They had told me to then come see them with necessary credentials in order for them to write the letter.
From visiting my professor, I was questioned, do I really think I'll get into dental school? All this time, I have remained confident even though the chances looked grim compared to the average applicant and I understand that. I was hoping to be able to hit it out the ball park on the DATs to accommodate for the GPA variance.
My professor had then told me to come back in August, when I have taken the DATs and have scored at least a 20 in order for them to write me one.
To give further insight, my school GPA is a 3.20+ overall. I have two degrees; Biology and Chemistry.
I mean, with a 3.20+ overall GPA and two degrees (not sure if having a secondary degree helps any), does it really mean I have no chances? Should I not apply this cycle?
