So I am trying to decide if I should change my step 2 date. I have my date scheduled at a testing center I know very well. I think I have literally taken every test I could in my entire life there. However, I am thinking I should move the test 2 days, which would mean having to do it at another testing center.

My concern is I tend to suffer from issues with testing related to anxiety. I have literally failed a test in the past because the way the pages were stapled or I got to the exam and the texture of the paper wasn't what I was expecting. I ended up rushing through the test blindly just so I could get away from the problem. So I am trying to decide if gaining two extra study days is worth losing the advantage of having a testing center I am very familiar with that won't make me anxious. How much of a difference does two days make even if you do use them to study?

Why do you want to move it? I don't think you would accomplish much in two days especially if doing it at another test center will make you anxious those two days.

2 more days to study won't make an incredible difference in your performance, and I'd be concerned about the anxiety a new testing center would cause.

I'd suggest finding someone at your school (academic advisor, psychologist, etc) to talk to about your anxiety. They may be able to help you find ways to calm yourself down in a triggering situation like test day.
