Hey all, I need some advice on how to spread out these pre-reqs. I graduated this past may 2014 and only have chem1, chem2, physics1, and physics 2 left for pt school. After taking these last few classes, I would apply summer 2015. My plan was to take summer 2014 to take chem 1 and chem 2, physics 1 over fall, then finish physics 2 over spring (all at community college). However, I've had bad professors and got a C in chem 1 and not doing to well in chem 2. I'm wondering what I should do. I do not want to stretch these classes out for another year but it looks like I may have too because I've seen the other posts on taking chem and physics together. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Science classes in the summer are rough. They can be tough courses to begin with and the accelerated pace kicks the difficulty up a notch. This summer I took Bio and Chem, along with a healthcare ethics and public speaking class that I needed to graduate. It was WAY too much. I have an internship going on as well and when I'm not there my head is in the books. It's been a miserable summer. I'm taking A&P and Physics 1 along with another class in my major in the fall then Physics 2, Chem 2, and A&P 2 in the spring. I'm living on my GI Bill and savings right now so my goal is to graduate and head back to the real world for a year or so. I need that school free year of not being broke before heading off to PT school in order to keep my sanity.

How'd you do in those bio and chem classes? Did you pick heavy semesters because you want to apply by a certain time?

I have a few weeks left but I'm pulling As so far. I just got out of the Army so I could head to school full time and apply to the Army Baylor program for the next application cycle. I've decided to wait on year to apply but I just want to have my schooling over with. I thought about taking one class at a time while I worked full time but I want to have some time where I don't have to worry about homework. When I'm done with classes I will take the time I spent on homework to study for the GRE. I know it sounds nerdy but it will also be nice to read a book that's not school related for a change.
