I graduate is January with my B.S., As far as pre-reqs go I still need Orgo 1&2, Physics 1&2 and Biochem. I plan on taking Orgo 1 in Spring 2012 but don't know what to take with it. I was thinking of taking just Orgo so I can get a great grade in it, will adcoms look down on this? Should I take something like Anatomy with it? even though its not a pre-req for the schools im interested in.

im assuming you havnt taken any upper level bios, and only the intro.

2 options:

1) Take Orgo 1 and Upper level bio( microbio/biochem/cellbio/genetics) and 1-2 lighter classes such as english classes. I believe its good to have a min of 10-12 credits.

2) Take orgo 2 Spring 2012, along with the same classes I recommended above, then take orgo 1 during the first half the summer. This option is frowned upon by administration, but I have seen a few that have done it if they want to rush the process.

I'm confused by what you mean take Orgo 2 Spring 2012? At my school you need to take Orgo 1 before Orgo 2, also you need to complete them both to even take Biochem. As far as other upper divisions, I actually already have Microbio and Physiology. What about Precalc/Anatomy in the spring and start Orgo sequence next Fall?

What if I take precalc, genetics, and another class at a community college in the Spring and start the orgo sequence in the Fall at my 4 year uni? Is it bad if I take the Sprin semester at a CC (due to times offered)?

stick to 4-year university. it will be a red flag if you have taken 4-year classes, then go to community college, then go back to 4-year. keep it consistent in my opinion.
