I am a NY resident was wondering what would be a list of schools to apply to for someone with average stats like myself (3.4 gpa). Money and location is not an issue and I already will be applying to NYU, Columbia, and Buffalo. I cant apply to BU or TUFTS because I took Physics at a CC. I am just trying to think ahead so I can focus on a select group of schools.

Unless you get a 22AA i would scratch Columbia off that list, they wont accept you unless you murder the DAT.

Add MWU-AZ, MWU-IL, Case Western, Pittsburgh, Temple, UMDNJ, Stony Brook.

Was thinking of those also, but not Stoney because I'm not taking Calc for one school. Im also considering Nova, ASDOH, UNLV, Maryland, UConn, Ohio, UOP, Lecom, Roseman, any input on these?

Pitt, UConn, Temple, UMDNJ, Stony Brook, TUFTS (I took a pre-req at a CC and got an interview...you can too!), Case Western, Maryland, NOVA. That is for starters.

Nova - dont even bother, too many applicants and most get rejected. Plus the program isnt too good from what I hear.
ASDOH - same thing waste of $$$ they require a crapload of volunteering hours (800 or so) its a waste of time and money to apply here (its a school for applicants with low stats and even then they try to act too picky.)
UNLV - debt trap since most years tuition goes up. I didnt even apply there and wouldnt advise you to. Plus they dont take a lot of NY applicants.
UConn - apply only if you can submit all your stuff by early to late June or July. Most applicants who submitted there in August got rejected. (its an awesome and cheap school)
LECOM and Roseman are new, but I would only put those down if you intend on putting down other schools like MWU-IL and Western, since I consider them on the same level.

I cannot comment on Ohio or UOP since I did not apply there nor do I know their methods for picking students. Except that UOP wants huge PAT scores and they accept 100% of applicants that they interview 🙂 which is pretty cool.
