Hello everyone 🙂

I'm a medical student in Turkey. I guess our systems are different than the USA. Here we study medicine for 6 years after high school , So i've been thinking about preparation for USMLE and i'm wondering about the time i'll need. I'm in my 2nd year now and planning to have Step1 after a year from now! It wont be easy to focus on school and to study USMLE at the same time " our education here is in turkish language " 🙁

So what do you think about that , should I start from this moment and go slowly or wait until the last years ?

Thanks

I have heard most people suggest beginning their review about 3-6 months in advance of when you plan to take the test. Anything further out you will probably forget the material you reviewed anyway. In the meantime, think of studying for school as board studying and try to incorporate answering questions into your daily study plan.
