Here are my stats, nothing to brag about but I need to get into a school in 2005, I can't wait any longer.

GPA Cum 2.91 (I know its bad, however I worked 30-35 hours throughout college and had so much family problems, paid 75% of education and expenses)
Science around the same, little lower

DAT AA 21
PT 15
QR 17
RC 20
Bio 19
GC 25
OC 23
TS 21

Applying to: NYU, BU, UConn, Tufts, UOP, UCLA, Columbia, UMDNJ, SUNY Stony Brook and Buffalo, Temple. Maybe a couple more

SeriousPreDent your DAT score is very good so that will help. I would not apply to Stony Brook unless you are a NY resident (i heard they don't take out of state applicants). If you really must get in this year i would suggest adding Marquette, Nova, Creighton, Nevada, Arizona, Meharry and Howard to your list.

What do you think are my chances for NYU and UMDNJ or other schools?

Well my stats where GPA=3.09 DAT AA=18 SA=18 PAT=17 and i also worked to put myself through school and i got accepted at NYU and BU, plus many interviews and waitlists. So i guess what i am trying to say is that i think you have a good shot at NYU, BU, Buffalo, Temple, Tufts and the other ones i mentioned in my above post b/c those were the ones that I had positive feedback from. I would also suggest the Texas schools if your a Texas resident. But if your not then don't spend the money and time b/c they only take about 10 out of state students a year( so out of 240 seats only 10 go to out of state applicants).

Just apply early, like around may-june and you should have a shot of getting into any one of those schools you listed.

Good luck

Heya!
Uconn, UOP and UCLA are very competitive to get into. I might consider those three reach schools and add one or two more private schools just in case (If you have the money for all of them)
That said, the application process is such a crapshoot, so who knows.
Good luck!!
I just noticed you were working crazy hours....Def. put that in your statment somewhere, or at least in your secondaries. If you think your gpa is on the low side because of working or family, give them an explanation why.
Mine was a little low due to personal reasons for two quarters, I explained, and no one ever bothered me about it

Oh yea, dont apply 2 Meharry and Howard unless u fit their "profile" Other than those 2 schools u mentioned u should get an interview somewhere

Good Luck
