so here’s the deal: last year I applied to out of state schools, I had my heart set on moving out of state and building a life somewhere new! Well I ended up on a bunch of waitlists and basically gave up. In late April I found out I got pulled off of the waitlist for one of the schools and would have to move 8 hours in a couple months to be ready for the August start date. I ended up turning it down as I decided that I would apply to cheaper in state schools my second round and save roughly 30-40K. I also felt overwhelmed with the big move and only a couple months to prepare, but finances were my main reason. Well I got the chance again by getting pulled off another waitlist for a school that starts in January that is 9 hours away. I’m in the same boat left with the same hard decision and I already applied to 6 schools this second time around.
Do I accept the school that’s roughly 100K and have to move last minute, but I would be in PT school
or do I risk not getting in my second round for the chance at a lot cheaper of a school?
I think my chances are decent but you never know. GPA: 3.54 GRE: Q 154 V 155 AW 5.0
any advice helps!!! Struggling between risking not getting into a cheaper school this round or going last minute on a huge move for a 100k school!
