Does anyone have a better idea? Should I stick to this or maybe add in something else??

I really like you're second post. That's very similar to what I'm doing, and aiming for a time frame about two weeks before yours. I'd say do just that.
Repetition is key I find. You do have time to do DIT, and DIt reads FA out to you. I did it, I liked it. In some ways, it makes it easier for me.
At the end of the day though, its all memorization.

Good luck.

Hi,
I saw you were taking the USMLE Step 1 Mid March and had questions about your study scheduling...I took Step 1 Dec 20th, 2010 and passed comfortably doing only the following:

1) Did DIT 4 months before test day. Since you only have 1.5 months I strongly recommend UWORLD and First Aid with 2 practice NBMES.

2) Reviewed First Aid EVERYDAY

3) UWORLD Questions - 60-80 per day every other day

Again, I recommend sticking with First Aid and UWorld. What really helped me was to review a particular topic in FA (lets say for example, Embryo) Then I did all the Embryo questions in UWORLD. It helped me retain the information better. I hope this helps.
