Need advice: USMLE 2014 Practice session @ Prometric

Hey all,

Just taking my STEP 1 test in less than a month and was wondering if any of you had experience/are planning on scheduling the practice session at PROMETRIC?

What does it entail/is it worth the money? And how long before my actual test should I schedule it?

Save your money. Just do practice tests at your house or where ever you study. Drive by the prometric center the day before so you know where it is.

I say do it. The whole process of entering the center, putting your stuff in the lockers, signing in and finger printing, signing out for lunch and back in, will calm your nerves down a little. Plus it'll give you an idea of how long everything takes. I would say do the practice test enough days before your exam so you can make one more full read through FA plus any additional notes you made. Good luck
