Need Advice

I applied back in July and the schools I applied to received all the info by august. I applied to Tufts, Temple, UMDNJ, and NYU. My GPA is a 3.2 and science is 3.0. My DATs were 19 academic, 19 scince. I didnt get into Tufts, Temple, nor UMDNJ. I got an interview at NYU. Does the interview mean I will get in? Also is there anything I can do to get into a dental school if not for this year then next year??

In no way is an interview a definate in (sorry). I would try taking some post-bac classes to raise your GPA, and mabye try the DAT again. Increasing your experience wouldent hurt either...GOOD LUCK

Sounds fishy. What were your full Dat scores? I have a hard time believing you didn't even get an interview at Temple. Did you go to a four year college or was it community? I would have thought that you would definatley get into Temple, BU, and NYU with the stats you're telling us about and the early application date.

Back when I was applying, I had a 3.1 and a 21 AA, 20 TS...I got rejected by Temple 1 week after I applied. Not sure how that happened so fast, but it did. I also went to Washington University, not a CC. Glad BU was there to pick me up.

I believe him, I didn't get accepted to temple either, and my stats are comparable.

I went to NJIT, a 4 year college, and majored in Engineering...I didnt get an interview at UMDNJ, Tufts, nor Temple...I got one for NYU hoping it will all go well..but not sure what to do if it doesnt...
