Be careful......I just might be on your admissions committee......😀
If....if you make it as far as pharmacy school in CA....you have to take an English fluency test to graduate - so its in your interest to learn to find a resource which is reliable you can use.
Please go back & reread my post & your response. I started mine by apologizing, however you returned with an expletive. I could have acknowledged that your question was indeed stupid, but I don't think it was. You needed to find the answer, however, the best answer for you is to find the resource to use not only now, but in the future. Someone gave you an opinion, but what will happen when you need to address a letter to someone who has a BS, PharmD & MPh, or any number of other official documents I've had to write.....will you come back here or would finding a good resource help you with that question too?
As someone posted earlier....yes, I'm old - old enough to be your parent, your preceptor, your faculty & on your admissions committee. There will be many opportunities in the future for you to need to find an answer. But we, as pharmacists, won't always have an answer. There is far, far too much drug knowledge out there for any one of us to know it all. So one of the lessons you'll learn in pharmacy school is how to find & manage information rapidly and how to write well & in a proper format. By the time you are apply to pharmacy school, you should know how to write a proper citation & if you don't, as you've demonstrated, you need to find a resource for it.
pharmCas & shaun009.....I'll apologize again to you both & give you the benefit of the doubt due to your youth. However....it would be wise to learn how to use resources & when someone suggests finding a resource - just thank them. A thanks will take you much farther than swearing ever will.........but....we'll see - you might know better. Perhaps you can tell me more if I'm ever in a position to be your preceptor!
