Need advice

So, like many of you out there i have been living, breathing, eating, pretty much everything, the DAT...3 days before the test I come down with a nasty viral throat infection...basically can't swallow. It really affected my studying the past couple of days. Tomorrow is my "scheduled" day off before the test. Do I postpone the test...or stick it out? I feel like i should just stick it out...what to do?!😕

I take mine on the 23rd, not feeling so hot either. Just stick it out, its all over soon.

ehhh...if you feel bad I would just wait til you are better. Postponing it a week is a lot better than having to retake in 3 months.

I definitely agree with Jo07. Postpone it for a week or so, and relax for the week.

I agree as well. Get some rest, fight out your infection and then go into the testing center well prepared; it will pay off. 🙂

If I'm not mistaken, you have to postpone at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled test day. So, if you are scheduled day after tomorrow, you might already be too late. If you don't go, there doesn't seem to be a penalty as far as your scores go but you'll have to cough up the money for a whole new DAT.
Hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug and you get to feeling better soon. 😀

thanks for all the feedback. I looked online and i can get a new date for saturday...i am thinking about postponing however, you may be right...if i don't show do i have to wait a certain amount of time before i reschedule?

this sucks-
