Everyone on this forum always seems so helpful and I was hoping I could get some advice! I applied for a research position and 12 days ago the lab supervisor emailed me saying that she would like to offer me the position, and she asked when would be a good time for her to call me to talk about the specifics.

I had emailed her back, and after not hearing from her for a few days I emailed her again, but I still have not heard from her at all! I'm getting very nervous that they are going to retract the offer. I also want to make sure that this is going to happen because it would require a long distance move for me that I need to start making arrangements for.

Should I keep waiting or should I just call her myself? I'm afraid that if I call her I'm going to be bothering her since she said that she would call me. Any advice would be appreciated! And I'm sorry for babbling! Thanks!

If it has been 12 days go ahead and call. No harm there.

wow how the heck do you get a job offer w/o even having a job interview???? congrats!

I had a clinical psychologist call me and left a vm to ask if I wanted to talk about the job position. it's been almost a week and I havent heard back from him. I left a voice mail also 2 days after he called me....

but yeah, I'd call if I were you

Okay I did call and speak to her and everything worked out fine. I did have an interview over the phone a couple of weeks before getting the offer!
